Drip Drip Drop
First of all:
Everyone will get wet. Seriously. EVERYONE. WILL. GET. WET. Warn people at your own discretion.
Now that that’s settled, you should note there’s a few variations to this game, but the general formula is pretty straight forward. It’s Duck Duck Goose but messier!
- Have your students sit in a circle.
- One person will be walking around the outside of the circle dripping water onto each players head.
- Every time this player drips water on someone’s head, they must say “drip…drip…drip” similar to saying “duck” in Duck Duck Goose.
- The player will continue like this until he chooses a particular player and yells “DROP!” and dumps all the remaining water from the container onto this person’s head.
- Now, the person who has just been “dropped” on, has to chase the first player and hopefully tag him before he makes a full rotation around the circle and steals his seat. If he tags him, then the first player is out, and now the person who was just “dropped” becomes the new “dropper.”
- You can play this game within a time constraint, or in an elimination manner where players tag each other “out” until only one is left, or simply until everyone is sufficiently soaked… The rules are up to you!
